Bartlett High School's National Honor Society is a group of students who have been invited to NHS based on their high academic standing in school and their commitment to the tenets of National Honor Society: Leadership, Character, Service, and Scholarship.
Students are invited to NHS beginning in the second semester of their sophomore or junior year based on their GPA. Upon being invited, students must apply to NHS, at which point their application is reviewed by a committee of faculty members.
NHS is committed to being leaders at Bartlett High School, demonstrating a strong moral character, providing service to NHS, Bartlett High, and the Anchorage community, and finally, to proving an ongoing commitment to the pursuit of academic scholarship as demonstrating by maintaining a high grade point average.
